Strange and Wonderful

I have added my song Strange and Wonderful to the FanFaves on Indieheaven. Strange and Wonderful has long been one of the most requested songs I have ever had. I have many times felt God's presence when the last verse kicks in...as John 1:1 is proclaimed. I will tell you how God brought this song to me in a later post.

Click the link below, go to FANFAVES to hear Strange and Wonderful....and vote by giving it 5 stars!!!!! Thanks!

New video: Mile of Sunshine Boulevard

I made this video for a church service at Forest Park Community Church using another song. Later I switched the song out for Mile of Sunshine Boulevard from my Trust CD (2006). The ideas and creativeness came from a gifted lady named Tatum Hart. It is a song of the joy of living the Christian life.

Mile of Sunshine Boulevard
Travelling down the Mile of Sunshine Boulevard
Seeing things I never dreamed I see
Comin’ round a bend, I lean into the wind,
Finding new life with every breath I breathe.

Never believed it could get any better than this,
But this is really only a glimpse
When the road is done and I’m finally home.
Well I will shout and I will sing
I will dance to the King of Kings
And I will rejoice to be travelling down
The Mile of Sunshine Boulevard.

Ya better watch on the Mile of Sunshine Boulevard,
There are those who want to take you out.
Just keep lookin’ straight ahead,
You will never be misled,
Keep lovin’ the Lord and the road He takes you down.

Song by Song: You Came Along

You Came Along
from: TRUST (mp3 sample)

About this song...

You Came Along was driven by the remembrance of how life was without Christ. Things in my life were pointless, hopeless, empty. I began to get involved in a youth ministry, the year after I graduated, at First Baptist Church of Smyrna, GA. I saw a committment to God and each other I have yet to see again in a youth group. As I look back on it, I remember that Jesus said 'They will know Me by your love." I gave my likfe to Jesus in the Spring while the youth had a one night revival at a local church. I got saved, born again, or whatever you may want to call it. I exchanged a pointless life for one with direction. Jesus lifted the weight I carried and freed me. I will not forget that day.

You Came Along reflects that moment in a person's life when they surrender to The Creator! If you get a chance request the song for me down below. I would really...really appreciate it. God bless.

lyrics:
Thought I was fine and I knew all the answers
Sure that I was doing everything right
You came and opened my eyes to a different light

Just like a fool taking all things for granted
Living my life thinking I had it all
Didn’t know I was so wrong till I heard You call

You came along and You wanted to save me
It was all wrong but You made it all right
Gave me a hope that I needed but never had known
Didn’t know love until You came along

I was a ship in a storm on the ocean
Lost and not knowing which way I should go
You shined Your light in the dark and then led me home.

But, more thank helping me out .... I hope these lyrics from that song will be an encouragement to you ... the song is a love song and the believer's testimony ... one many of us share :-)
